Philanthropy Week
The theme for Philanthropy Week in 2024 is Building a Culture of Philanthropy. Students will be able to explore philanthropic work happening on and off campus, and learn ways to integrate Philanthropy into the culture of their organizations, workplaces, etc.
This year, Philanthropy Week will run from March 4 through March 8. Explore the calendar of events to sign up for virtual and in person offerings.
Our main goals for Philanthropy Week 2024 are to:
- Showcase the great philanthropic work already happening at Ohio State by engaging campus offices, current students, and campus partners in our programming
- Explore philanthropy and the nonprofit sector as career fields and assist students in finding philanthropic opportunities on campus to expand their professional skillset
- Highlight our student organizations and raise awareness about their missions and work
- Raise critical questions related to philanthropy on campus and philanthropy in general that focus on accessibility, equity, and inclusion
We are also excited to continue the Emerging Leader in Philanthropy certificate program for students who participate in multiple Philanthropy Week events.

If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in a Philanthropy Week event, please contact Jayden Messer at messer.113@osu.edu. Requests made by one week before the selected session will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
